Hi everyone I am not an expert in marketing but I am really curious about the AI tools others are using for their marketing tasks So far I have been using ChatGPT pretty much for everything since it is affordable but I wonder if there are other tools that are really worth the price
Have you discovered any AI tools that have made a real impact in your marketing strategy Or are you like me and sticking to more general tools like ChatGPT I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions
I am a corporate videographer and I have been using EddieAI to create video frameworks for my edits It is like ChatGPT for video You can upload video and ask it to create stories using your footage If a client wants a 5 minute cut of what I shot I upload to Eddie and discuss the AI to craft a solid framework for the story Then I send it to the client for approval and once we agree on the story I export from Eddie to my editing software This has been a very good use of AI for me since I prefer not to get into generative AI
@Derry
That is really interesting EddieAI sounds like a useful tool especially for someone in videography I hadn’t heard of it before but the ability to create story frameworks from footage sounds very helpful Thanks for sharing your experience
Perplexity AI has replaced ChatGPT and Gemini for our SEO and advertising agency
We use it for research copy editing and for formatting our blog posts and newsletters What makes it special is that it sources and cites the web So we can point to data sources and websites for whatever we mention in these content pieces
It has saved us thousands of dollars in work hours just in August alone for twenty dollars a month
I am a big fan of Gemini and ChatGPT but our business in finance needs us to use Copilot as it maintains privacy and deletes chats as you go But I dislike Copilot The fact that it forgets chats so fast can be annoying and the quality is not as good as Gemini or ChatGPT so I am searching for better options
We tried out Narrato briefly but I was not impressed
@Whitney
Privacy is definitely an important topic especially for AI tools I don’t have deep insights on this but it is a subject that really needs careful research I hope you find a tool that works for both privacy and quality
@Devin
For me it is ninety-five percent The last five percent is for Grammarly and AI art generators I prefer free AI tools so I look on AI directories like Product Hunt AiPURE and Future Tools to find free or limited-time options
@Devin
I have used Perplexity before too It is very helpful for real-time information for sure I am not sure if Perplexity has custom-trained models like GPT though I think that’s what keeps me interested in ChatGPT I have heard great things about Claude but I guess I am just stuck with my first choice
@Shannon
Hi I may be asking a silly question since I am new to AI but what do you mean by Perplexity is good for real-time information but might not have custom-trained models like GPT What is the difference
For professional tasks I find ChatGPT to be a good starting point when I am coding But other similar options should be fine for that
I use AI mostly for my personal projects AI is cheap fast and not great so it suits my hobbies better I don’t think of them as marketing tools they are just AI tools to me

That makes sense ChatGPT is definitely a solid choice Using AI for hobbies is an interesting approach thanks for sharing
ChatGPT is a good starting point for coding as it feels like a machine helping a machine So I find it very useful for that
But I dislike using ChatGPT for more human tasks due to biases and misconceptions I can get some really off information for things people call market research
Like another marketer said she uses ChatGPT to find bad ideas quickly to get rid of them In that case I don’t consider ChatGPT as a starting point but as something that helps the team quickly reach their real starting point
In general I think AI performs similarly to a marketing student or entry-level marketer They can be helpful starting points but I need to be careful and cannot expect them to replace real professionalism I can’t let AI a marketing student or entry-level marketer take charge
@Haru
You raise some really good points ChatGPT can be great for technical tasks but I understand your concerns about its limitations in more complex human-centered areas like market research It is a tool meant to assist not replace true expertise Knowing when to use it and when to rely on human judgment is important
@Haru
I use ChatGPT regularly for small coding projects especially for our newsletter If I want something specific like a gray box or a feature MailChimp doesn’t offer I just give ChatGPT the prompt and it always makes what I need Many times I tell it the layout I am thinking of and it drafts the code for me to implement As someone with minimal coding skills needing it for my job it has been a lifesaver
I run an agency so I create a lot of content for clients as part of our SEO service and I am using getmacaw to generate AI articles with human editing and checks This tool is great because it improves content based on what is already ranking on Google for specific keywords I had tried other AI writing tools before but this one surpassed all of them
