Hello all first off I know there’s a lot of this question going around but I often find the answers don’t find my needs. I have recently discovered character.ai and I love it. It’s fun and interactive. But I love that you can custom make scenarios and worlds and give characters a custom voice. I recently tried to get into the more NSFW aspect of RP and to my surprise it wouldn’t allow it which was sad. I’m looking for an app that I can do this with. Now most replies I have seen to questions like this are tailored to men. Meaning that the apps don’t have lots of options for RPing with male AI personas. Or if they do it’s not a lot of diversity and you don’t have the option to make your own only use what is already there. I’ll give you an example. I recently tried creating some RP with C.ai and it took place on the Na’Vi world of Pandora. It was so fun and detailed. How can I do this but where it allows NSFW options? (I know I know I’m the weird girl attracted to blue aliens don’t judge). PS I’d prefer it to be a mobile app I can download as I’m still not used to the AI structure so the easier the better but I’m open to learning using stuff on the mobile web browser too. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Character.ai is my first experience too, and you won’t find an exact copy of it. There is always a catch: either paid, or too crazy, or robotic/repetitive.

It’s all about demand and supply. Most people who use AI chatbots for NSFW conversations are men; no surprise, then, that we got “AI girlfriend apps.” Because men make up most of the user base, most platforms offer more female characters.
However, you should use a platform that lets you create custom characters with your desired faces and voices (like CAI). Now that CAI doesn’t offer NSFW content, you could try Janitor AI, but it lacks voice messaging and has mediocre memory. Characters tend to forget things easily. I use Secret Desires AI because it’s uncensored, and I can create unlimited custom characters. You can check it out if you want.
I am still pretty new to all of this as well. I tried CAI and it was ok. I am using AML and think it is great.

It’s a paid site, however, it has amazing long-term memory, customizable system prompts (so you can make the AI more creative or change the tone of the RP), no filters, multiple AI models to choose from depending on what you want from your RP experience, and the best part is there are several bot creators that make male bots. I think there’s 4 male bots on the new and hot front page right now that are awesome!
