Chatbot Developers, what's "THE ONE" chatbot you built that got the most amount of yes's and people to use it?

I am new to this space and am trying to understand the chatbot market, and currently, I am in the dark. I don’t want to build a random cookie cutter “customer service” bot for the hundredth time using VoiceFlow. I wanna know what y’all have made that received massive attention for some reason, and which is actually useful.

No one uses my chatbots. I made something interesting which is a little different and only less than 10 people even tried it: r/mailbot

Looks like a good concept, although I am unable to access the website you posted. Could you explain a little more about this email chatbot?

@Reese
There is no magic. The idea is that I have connected an IMAP server to LLM. When a new email arrives, it is processed by LLM, and a Python script replies to the email. It is a chatbot without an interface. The interface is your mailbox. To test it, send an email to mailbotchat@gmail.com. The model is a free API from Groq so it is not stable.

@Reese
It generates images as well. Send an email with “image” in the subject and description in the email body to mailbotchat@gmail.com, and an image will be generated with stable-diffusion-3.5 and mailed to you.

@Presley
Seems neat, I’ll try it and revert back…

1st: this looks very AI-generated. 2nd: I have seen bots like these, but most likely never become anything more than either website or WhatsApp bots… it is a very viable but boring business.

Only the WORST OF THE WORST, a complete piece of trash made it rule-based on Botpress.

I couldn’t find a way to provide an understandable offer about a very good chatbot I’ve made with DeepAI API…

I’ve been running a chatbot for many years (before LLMs existed) that uses objectively stupid pattern matching, but it still gets people asking if it’s a real person. At its peak, it was doing maybe 10,000 conversations per day.

I built one of the most aggressive and challenging bots that can insult you so well that you will go to bed crying.

Well, not much exaggeration but you can try it for yourself and experience it: ChatFai

I built this as an experiment and… It’s really fun when you want to have a keyboard-fight or keyboard-roasting session with someone.

I am currently profitable with The AI Peeps. It’s an AI companion site focused on providing a realistic chatting experience.
