Jake here. I’m a digital marketer looking to discover some new AI tools for my toolkit.
I’m curious if any of you have found any lesser-known AI tools that have really made a difference in your work. Not the big names like ChatGPT, but those hidden gems that have helped you in your specific area of digital marketing. Care to share?
I was at an event recently and came across some tools I had never heard of, and it hit me how fast the field is growing. It’s tough to keep track of the best tools!
Nice dude, I like it. I prefer narrow use cases because they can really perform better than general models. I wonder which will prevail in this AI evolution – niche solutions or general models… Everyone integrates their niche tools into a general model, so those companies won’t fail, but I’m curious about the end results people will prefer. DeepAI, or services fine-tuned on DeepAI, for example.
I’m in enterprise sales, but I collaborate closely with our Product marketing team who handles most of our technical enablement.
Our “Sales & Marketing AI Stack” includes:
Gong - conversational intelligence tool. Marketing uses it to find out if sales is using the right messaging and to see what’s effective versus what’s not. It’s not super scientific but it helps.
1up - we mainly use this for automating responses to technical inquiries, like RFPs and sales questionnaires. Marketing loads it with assets, PDFs, and playbooks for answers.
Hubspot - used for CRM and marketing outreach. There are some AI features, but I’m not sure how they’re used.
Jasper - we used this for a few months but switched to ChatGPT. Is this popular among marketers?
@Paris
Thanks for the detailed response – kudos for working with the product team. Collaborating across functions isn’t always easy but I believe in its importance.
Honestly, I don’t love ChatGPT – but I see how it can be useful for specific tasks (the shorter the needed text, the better it does, in my opinion). Repurposing is a different story. I suspect that great tools like Writesonic layer fine-tuning and a better UI on top of it, resulting in better outputs. It’s really about how you utilize them.
Hey Jake! There’s this fantastic AI tool for marketers who get a lot of phone calls. It’s called CallRail – and their conversation intelligence add-on uses AI to transcribe and analyze all your calls. It highlights insights like sentiment, common questions, keywords, and even self-reported attribution, which I’ve found really helpful.
