I’ve seen some paid solutions and DIY attempts promising to have AI handle all marketing decisions. Is this a realistic goal or just a sales pitch?
I’d say it’s more of an aspirational concept than a current reality. In my experience, a well-trained GPT model can outperform 95% of CMOs.

That’s a bold claim, but it changes my perspective. It ultimately comes down to the quality of the data used in decision-making processes. Eliminating decision time or replacing a lack of decision-making capacity could make an LLM a valuable executive in many scenarios.

You must have dealt with some underwhelming CMOs. Which companies were you referring to? Would be interesting to short them.

Including strategic decision-making processes?
What marketing functions have you not replaced with AI?
@Macon
I would be skeptical of any AI company that conceals its data sets, cherry-picks examples, and lacks statistical evidence that it surpasses chance in strategic decision-making.

For these reasons, I think open-source models will be highly sought after in the near future.

To clarify, we don’t hide anything.

Yes, even strategic decisions. We input the target market parameters, and our model replicates and funds lookalikes.
The only way to determine the validity of these claims is to test the platforms, assuming you have a testing budget or they offer free tiers. I experiment with a new AI marketing app daily, and I’m building one that might replace myself someday. This future is still a few years away. A true AI CMO needs to be connected to your data, as well as market data and distribution channels, both online and offline.
If someone has a remarkable AI CMO platform, please suggest. Maybe I can stop building mine then.
