Our marketing team is looking for a reliable Face Swap API for some advertising campaigns.
I’m searching for something that can handle a larger scale and is user-friendly.
We have been exploring a few options, Akool and Deepswap, and are also considering some open-source models if their API is easy to use.
Has anyone here worked with these APIs? How do they stack up in terms of:
Accuracy: How realistic do the face swaps appear?
Speed: We need to process several at once
Ease of Integration: This is mainly for our design and advertising teams
If you have experience with any open-source models that you think could compete with or even surpass these, I’d love to hear about them too! Any feedback, suggestions, or recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I don’t think the technology is good enough for an API yet. I only use direct LLMs. I could create an API for you; what’s your budget?
We’re probably looking for something ready to use so we can get started quickly. Thanks for the offer, but I don’t think we have the time to develop a custom solution.

A ready-made solution would just involve using open-source tools and delivering via API (like Flask). No worries, good luck with your project!

Wait, what?
We could take some open-source options and quickly create one for you, to summarize.
If open-source was truly viable, there wouldn’t be teams of top-notch engineers continuously pushing innovations. It’s tough to compare apples to oranges. Would you really compare fast food to a fine dining restaurant? You get what you pay for; we all know open-source requires a lot of coding investment.
Just bite the bullet and pay for Akool. I’ve tried many, but open-source tools have never worked for me in faceswapping. I’m not sure how they did it, but Akool significantly outperforms everyone else based on my experiences.
